Chinatrust Commercial Bank Corporation

Commenced operation on September 5, 1995 initially as Access Banking Corporation until the Taiwan-based Chinatrust Commercial Bank purchased 60% of the bank in January 1996. The balance 40% of the bank's equity is owned by a group of Filipino-Chinese entrepreneurs led by Larry T. Villareal and William B. Go.
