Israeli archaeology digging in the Golan illegal

From ArabicNews, The first international conference on Middle East archaeology, which concluded its deliberations in Rome, has asserted that Israeli archaeological excavations works and surveys carried out in the Golan are illegal, describing them as contradicting international laws and regulations, including UNESCO regulations which ban excavation in occupied territories.
